AGM 2009
The Branch AGM was held last night at the Studley Sports and Social Club.
Members heard reports from officers, learnt who has been given the branch awards and elected new offcers.
Julian Pearson was awarded the Wooden Spoon for his experiences with a new DSMB, Martin Davies won the Anchor award for attempting to dive without a weight belt in Mull, Garry Southall was awarded the Improver of the year, and Richard Dean the Club Person of the year.
Maggie introduced a new award, the Full Metal Diver which was presented to Richard Woodd.
Steve Ashley was elected Chairman, Richard Dean Diving Officer, and Sean Hurley appointed Training Officer. Other Committee and Officer positions will be confirmed following the first committee meeting due soon.
