Learn to Dive
We currently have around 30 active members at various levels from trainee to First Class Diver.
We have a strong, nationally qualified instructing team comprising Advanced, Open Water, and Assistant Instructors.

We have a small amount of pool training equipment for students to use whilst training and on initial open water dives. This equipment has just been updated with the help of a National Lottery Grant, which has also helped us to develop our Instructor Team. We have some dive computers so that our trainees can use them before they purchase their own - this means that the trainee is taking responsibility for their dive monitoring right from the word go.
Our club Wefare of the Vulnerable policy seeks to address any issues that might concern you or your family when diving with us. This document sets out our approach to training minors (under 18) and also to safeguarding any vulnerable person, including the inexperienced diver in the charge of a more senior diver or an instructor.
The Instructors
We are lucky to have a very experienced team of instructors, lead by our training officer, Richard Dean, and can run courses from beginner to advanced level. Recently, one of our instructors, Maggie Davies, qualified as a BSAC First Class Diver.
